Frank Hasenberg

Frank Hasenberg (* 1964 in Wetter (Ruhr) ) is a German municipal civil servant ( SPD ) and full-time mayor of the city of Wetter in the Ennepe-Ruhr district .

Hasenberg grew up in Esborn . After primary school, he attended the Otto-Schott-secondary school and graduated in 1983 at the Schiller Gymnasium in Witten his high school . He then trained as a banker and worked in this profession for 18 years at Commerzbank in Düsseldorf .

Frank Hasenberg was elected mayor of his hometown on November 11, 2007 . On September 22, 2013 he was re-elected with 64.7% of the votes cast.

He has been a member of the council since 2004, Chairman of the Administrative Board of Stadtbetrieb, Chairman of the Administrative Board of Stadtsparkasse Wetter and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sparkasse Foundations

Hasenberg has been married since 1995 and has two daughters.
