Frank Richard George Lampard senior [ ˈlæmpɑːd ] (born September 20, 1948 in East Ham , London ) is a former English football player .
Player career
society
He began his career in 1967 as a left-back for West Ham United . With good performance and dedication, he quickly earned a regular place in the Hammers team . With West Ham United he won the FA Cup in 1975 and 1980 . In 18 years at West Ham, Lampard played a total of 674 games and scored 22 goals - most of them in the league. In the FA Cup he played 43 times and contributed two goals, in the League Cup he played 54 games and scored one goal. After Billy Bonds he is the most game player for West Ham. He left the club in 1985 and played for Southend United for another year before retiring in the summer of 1986.
National team
In October 1972 Lampard made his debut in the English national team against the Yugoslav selection . In total, the full-back played two games for the Three Lions . He had previously worn the jersey of the U23 team . He won all of his four games for the English junior team.

Coaching career
In 1994 Lampard rejoined his hometown club, West Ham. Under Harry Redknapp he was the team's assistant coach.
Familiar
He is the father of longtime England international Frank Lampard , who retired in February 2017. Lampard is widowed. His wife Patricia, the mother of Frank Lampard Jr., died of a lung disease in April 2008 at the age of 58 . Harry Redknapp , under whom Lampard worked as assistant coach for seven years, is his brother-in-law.
