Frank Micke
Frank Micke (* 1960 in Berlin ) is a former German cyclist and Juniors - world champion in cycling .
Athletic career
He was a member of the TSC Berlin club when he celebrated the greatest success of his sporting career in 1978. At the UCI Junior World Track Championships in the USA in the 1000-meter time trial , he won the gold medal ahead of Sergej Kopylov , in the sprint he won bronze. He also achieved these placings at the GDR championships in youth class A in 1978. In the following years, despite several victories in track races and criteria, he could no longer build on the great successes as a junior.
