Frank Warnecke (born March 16, 1965 in Erfurt ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Thuringian state parliament from 2014 to 2019 .

Life

After visiting the POS , Warnecke completed an apprenticeship as a maintenance mechanic. He then worked as a maintenance mechanic for data and office machines in the Robotron sales department in Erfurt. Since May 1991 he has been working as a consultant for the Erfurt tenants' association. From 2001 to 2014 he was managing director of the Erfurt tenants 'association and regional manager Thuringia of the German tenants' association .

politics

Warnecke has been a member of the SPD since 1989 and was a member of the Erfurt city council from 2000 to 2004 and since 2009 as parliamentary group leader. There he is a member of the Committee for Construction and Transport and the Main Committee. In the state elections in Thuringia in 2014 , he won a mandate on the state list of the SPD Thuringia . There he is a member of the Committee for Infrastructure, Agriculture and Forestry and the Committee for Economy and Science. Warnecke was the deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group from 2014 until his resignation in June 2019. In the state elections in Thuringia in 2019 , he received no mandate.

Warnecke is chairman of the supervisory board of the municipal housing company Erfurt (KoWo) and a member of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke Erfurt (SWE).

Volunteering

Warnecke is chairman of the Mitmenschen eV association, deputy chairman of the tenants' association Erfurt eV and deputy chairman of the Thuringian Zoopark Foundation.
