Frank Willmann (Author)

Frank Willmann (born September 20, 1963 in Weimar ) is a German author .

Life

Willmann left the GDR for West Berlin in 1984 . In 1986 he took part in the art campaign The White Line on the Berlin Wall . From 1990 to 2002 he published ten volumes of prose and poetry, some as joint editions.

He publishes books on football culture, publishes anthologies and writes for newspapers, such as the Berliner Zeitung , taz , Junge Welt and Zeit . Since 2015 he has been editing the “ Library of German Football ” series.

He is a member of the German national team of authors ( Autonama ) and appointed member of the German Academy for Football Culture .

Willmann lives in Berlin .
