The book series
The publisher of the volumes is the author and football journalist Frank Willmann . They appear in the Berlin publishing house Culturcon medien . Lower-class clubs are also included in the series; the BSG Chemie Leipzig played to the publishing time 2016 sechstklassig. The first volumes dealt with East German associations. With Volume 9 on 1. FC Nürnberg , the first West German club was taken into account and Volume 11 deals with 1. FC Köln for the first time, a club that was playing in the Bundesliga at the time of publication .
In 2019 the first four volumes of the library of Austrian football appeared in the same format. It is edited by Thomas Pöltl, founder of the First Austrian Football Library in Vienna, and Frank Willmann.
