Ulrich "Uli" Hannemann (born August 26, 1965 in Braunschweig ) is a German writer.

Life

Hannemann grew up in Prien am Chiemsee and graduated from high school there in 1984. In 1985 he moved to Berlin and broke off his studies there in 1989. From 1990 to 2007 he worked as a taxi driver and from 1992 to 1995 in the printing collective Agit-Druck . He has lived in the Berlin district of Neukölln since 1992 .

The first texts appeared in 1998 in the Berlin literary magazine Salbader . After guest appearances, Hannemann became a member of the LSD reading stage in 2000 - love instead of drugs . From 2004 to 2015 he was also a member of the Reformbühne Heim & Welt . In 2005 his first anthology, Chicken Unfortunately, was published. Since 2001 he has been writing for the daily Glossen und Kolumnen. He publishes in numerous print media as well as anthologies.

Hannemann has been a member of the German national team of authors since it was founded in 2005 .

In his columns and short stories , Hannemann makes use of black humor and irony , especially when he writes about marginalized milieus such as the taxi industry or the Berlin problematic district of Neukölln. One reviewer described him as a “lover of the absurd” and an entertaining “interpreter of the social pathological”.
