Home & World reform stage
The Reformbühne Heim & Welt (short: Reformbühne ) is a Berlin reading stage .
history
The Reformbühne was created in 1995 on the initiative of Hans Duschke and Bov Bjerg . Not least because of the popularity of individual members such as Wladimir Kaminer , Ahne or Jakob Hein , the reform stage became known beyond Berlin.
The first events took place in the Schokoladen (Berlin-Mitte). In 1999 the Reformbühne moved to the Kaffee Burger . From September 2014 onwards, the readings were held in Haus Berlin at Strausberger Platz 1 in the Panorama Lounge and from January 2016 in Jägerklause (Grünberger Straße 1) in Friedrichshain . The Red Salon of the Volksbühne has been the new venue since January 2019 . The event has taken place on Sundays without interruption since 1995.
features
One of the hallmarks of this reading stage is the ironic mixture of literature and political agitation. For a while it was subtitled “League for Combat and Leisure”, which later became the surf poet reading stage . Support for actions such as a demonstration for the 1st International Fighting and Holiday of the Unemployed show the closeness to the thoughts of the happy unemployed and situationism .
