Daniel Patrick Adair (born February 19, 1975 in Canada ) is a Canadian drummer . He replaced 2005 Ryan Vikedal in the rock band Nickelback , where he also one of the background singers is.

Before that, Adair played in the band 3 Doors Down , which he organized as a replacement for himself Greg Upchurch , the drummer of Puddle of Mudd . All the Right Reasons was the first album he recorded with Nickelback.

Life

Daniel Adair was born in Toronto on February 19, 1975 and taught himself to play drums at the age of 13. He later got a job in a music shop and began performing with many different bands and giving drum lessons. He's also working with Dave Martone on a project called Martone . Between 2002 and 2004 he played as a studio and tour drummer in the band 3 Doors Down . He has been the drummer and backing singer for Nickelback since 2005 and has already released five albums with them.

In 2007, Adair married his wife Brittany, with whom he now has two children, a son and a daughter.
