reception

The album was judged differently. Criticism in Europe took the album cautiously. It is neither outstanding nor bad, it is solid work - but nothing special. In Canada, however, the album went platinum and in Great Britain silver . In the USA the work also reached platinum and stayed in the charts for 18 weeks - in Germany only one week. In the English-speaking world, the critics mostly praised the album as excellent. In addition, the album did not hit German stores until April 2001 - 13 months after its launch in the UK.
