The Long Road is the fourth studio album by the Canadian band Nickelback and was released on September 23, 2003. It reached number six on the US Billboard 200 charts and thus not quite the status of its predecessor Silver Side Up .
useful information
The Long Road was the successor to Silver Side Up , but not nearly as successful. The singles also earned less fame. Although the band showed with Someday that they are capable of catching up with How You Remind Me , the other singles were nowhere near as well received. See You at the Show , however, was the ZDF theme song for EM 2004 . Also on this album was Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting) , a cover version of the 1973 classic by Elton John released in collaboration with Kid Rock . The sound of the album was significantly harder than that of its predecessor. Since this album did not correspond to the usual mainstream, the great success was probably not. This is particularly evident in Because of You and Figured You Out .
