Theory of a Deadman is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver that was formed in 2002. They signed their record deal with 604 Records , a music label founded in 2002 by Chad Kroeger , the singer of Nickelback .
history
Theory of a Deadman released their debut album of the same name on September 17, 2002. The two single releases Nothing Could Come Between Us and Make Up Your Mind were particularly successful, which allowed them to achieve their first mainstream success.
On March 29, 2005 they finally released their second album, entitled Gasoline . However, before this album was released, they toured with Shinedown and No Address and had been on a promotional tour with Breaking Benjamin and The Exies since March 1st . The first single from this album was No Surprise .
The fact that several songs from Gasoline appeared in the game Fahrenheit , their popularity rose sharply. For example, the song Santa Monica is played during the ending sequence (credits) of the game.
The band also played the theme song for World Wrestling Entertainment's No Way Out 2006: a cover version of Deadly Game from the WWE Anthology album. The song was also released on the WWE Wreckless Intent album.
On April 1st, 2008 her new album called Scars and Souvenirs was released. The starting single was called So Happy . With Bad Girlfriend they released their most successful single to date.
They contributed the title Not Meant to Be to the soundtrack of the film Transformers - Die Rache (2009) . Her title Head Above Water appeared on the soundtrack of the follow-up Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) . This title is also in fourth studio album The Truth Is ... included.
In 2011 the band toured on the "Avalanche Tour" with other bands, e. B. Skillet , Stone Sour , Halestorm and Art of Dying .
