Shape of My Heart is a song released by Sting in 1993 on Ten Summoner's Tales , the melody of which was written by guitarist Dominic Miller . Sting explained that in the lyrics to Shape of My Heart , he wanted to tell the story of a card player “who doesn't play to win but to try to find out something; to find out some kind of mystical logic in luck or chance; a kind of scientific, almost religious law. ”The song was used in the credits of the film Léon with Jean Reno and Natalie Portman .
