Pastor Troy (* 1977 in College Park , Georgia ; actually Micah Levar Troy ) is an American rapper .

Career

Micah Troy is the son of a pastor. Due to his father's military drill, Troy grew up in a strict household. Troy's father was careful to ensure that religion and church were important parts of his son's life from an early age. Young Troy also faced life on the street. It is this contradiction of influences that is reflected in his singing: the preacher's respectful son, who knows how not to suppress his rebellious side, but can still resist it.

Pastor Troy is part of the Dirty South scene , which is also reflected in projects with Lil Jon and other musicians of this genre. Troy is currently under contract with Money & The Power Records and SMC Records . He is also a member of the DSGB group.
