Greg Upchurch

Greg David Upchurch (born December 1, 1971 in Bayou Cane , Terrebonne Parish , Louisiana) is an American alternative rock drummer and now plays for 3 Doors Down . He replaced Daniel Adair , who left the band in 2005.

His first band was called Eleven and played on an album "Avantgardedog". He then played for Chris Cornell on his 1999 solo album and toured as a drummer for Chris. From there, Upchurch helped found the band Puddle of Mudd , where he appeared on two albums, "Come Clean" (2001) and "Life on Display" (2003) before joining 3 Doors Down in 2005.

Since 2001 he has lived in Kingston, Oklahoma, where he also lived as a child.
