The house at Frankenstrasse 30 Stralsund (2011)

The house with the postal address Frankenstraße 30 is a listed building on Frankenstraße in Stralsund , opposite the confluence with Jacobiturmstraße .

The two- and- a-half-storey , four-axle , plastered gable house with a two-storey tail gable , originally a medieval brick building , was changed in 1734 and in the second half of the 19th century and brought into its current form. The year in the facade is evidence of the first redesign.

In the entrance there are still billboards for the timber and coal trader Paul Schröder, who once resided here.

The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund from 1997 with the number 227.

There are three stumbling blocks set in the sidewalk in front of the house ; they are reminiscent of Hermann, Cilly and Nycha Fliesswasser (see the list of stumbling blocks in Stralsund ).
