Frankie Sakai
Furankî "Frankie" Sakai (born February 13, 1929 in Kagoshima , Japan ; † June 10, 1996 ) was a Japanese actor, comedian and musician.
He attended Keio University . In the early 1950s he was a member of the jazz band Frankie Sakai and the City Slickers.
As an actor he has appeared in the movies Bakumatsu taiyôden (1957), Mothra Threatening the World (1961), Death Rays from Space (1961) and Sharak (1995). He became known to European and American audiences through the role of Prince Kasigi Yabu in the 1980 television series Shogun .
