The Franklin Swamp Wildlife Management Area is a designated hunting area in the US state of Connecticut in the Franklin community area . There is an Environmental Department and the Ashbel Woodward Museum .
geography
The area extends between the triangle of Route 32 (Franklin Turnpike), Route 610 (Baltic Road) and Route 207 (Pond Road) and borders Giddings Park to the northeast , so various areas are not approved for hunting. The Beaver Brook , Mountain Brook and McCarthy Brook streams run on the property, the highest point is Pleasure Hill (Ayers Mountain) at 480 ft (146 m) above sea level .
