The Franklin University is a private university in Columbus , the capital of the US state of Ohio .
The college was founded in 1902 as a commercial school by the YMCA . In 1933 it was renamed Franklin University. Since 1993 it has offered graduate courses such as the Master of Business Administration .
In addition to the main campus in Columbus, the university also has locations in Indiana , Illinois , Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin .
