Frans Ykens
Frans Ykens , also known as François Ykens , (* 1601 in Antwerp , † 1693 in Brussels ) was a Flemish painter who mainly painted still lifes . He was a student of Osias Beert the Elder .
Ykens himself had numerous students. Peter Paul Rubens , who was one of his friends, owned several of his still lifes, which are now also shown in the Rubens House in Antwerp .
