František Novotný is a former Czechoslovakian ski jumper .

Novotný jumped on 10 February 1980 at the French Saint-Nizier his only jump in the ski jumping World Cup . He reached the 14th place on the large hill and won two World Cup points. With these World Cup points, he finished 96th in the overall World Cup ranking with Shinya Sasaki and Hubert Schwarz at the end of the 1979/80 season.
