French Church (Murten)

French church Murten

The French Church ( French : Église réformée française) in Murten is a Reformed church building in the city of Murten in the Swiss canton of Friborg . It was built from 1481 in place of the previous Katharinenkapelle and served as a church for the French-speaking members of the parish of Murten. Today it is used by the parish for both German and French-speaking church services. The Freiburg Cantonal Church also celebrates ordinations in it if only one pastor is consecrated as Verbi divini minister .
