The former French officer's casino is a building on Trier's Kornmarkt .

It was built in the years 1824–1825 by the building inspector and city master builder Johann Georg Wolff as the seat of the “Trier Reading Society” in the classical style. During the Second World War , the outer walls were destroyed in 1944, after which it was used as a casino by the French occupation soldiers until 1999 . During the reconstruction after the war, the exterior facade was restored true to the original. Inside, a foyer with a curved staircase, which was typical for the time and was preserved during the last renovation, was created.

After two years of renovation, part of the building with 2500 square meters of floor space has been used mainly for catering since 2004. In another part, including the upper floor, there is a bookshop.
