Franz August Schubert (born November 10, 1806 in Dessau; † April 28, 1893 there ) was a German history painter , creator of the ceiling paintings in the concert hall in the Royal Theater in Potsdam and the altarpiece Christ on the Mount of Olives in the Ivenack church (1867/68).
