Franz Büchner is a German sports commentator.

Büchner has been a permanent sports commentator at Sport1 since 2016 . From 2017, Büchner commented on the Bundesliga games on Amazon Music. For Sport1 he commented on games of the 2017 Men's Ice Hockey World Championship . In 2017, Büchner was nominated for the German Sports Journalist Award for Best Newcomer.
