Franz Bach (paleontologist)
Franz Bach (born August 30, 1886 in Mürzzuschlag , † April 25, 1943 in Leoben ) was an Austrian paleontologist and teacher.
From 1908 to 1911 Bach was an assistant at the Geological Institute of the University of Graz . From 1911 to 1943 he was a middle school teacher, until 1919 in Lundenburg , Moravia, then in Leoben, Styria. As a palaeontologist, Bach researched the mammals of the Styrian Young Tertiary.
