Life

Ebert first moved to the University of Munich to study law here as in Würzburg . After receiving his doctorate in 1897 , he first practiced with a lawyer in Munich (1897–1899) until he took a leave of absence in order to pursue a career as an artist. He received his first music lessons at the city music school in Aschaffenburg, where he already performed successfully as a singer in concerts as a student. Later he attended the royal music school in Würzburg, then made several years of sound education studies in Munich and in 1899 sang rehearsal at the court theater there. Music director Heinrich Porges recommended him to Bayreuth, and when he was heard there, he was accepted into the so-called Wagner School, and at the stage festival (1899) he was entrusted with the small part of "Hans Schwarz" in the five Meistersinger performances. In 1900, after successfully auditioning, Ebert joined the Association of the Court Theater in Stuttgart, where he made his debut as "Ruggiero". The singer has already tried his luck in roles like “Sarastro” etc. there.

Nothing is known about his life after 1902.
