Franz Ertl (politician, 1872)
Franz Ertl (born October 5, 1872 in Linz , Upper Austria ; † December 9, 1933 in Lambach , Upper Austria) was a railway employee and Christian social politician.
The train driver, who lives in Lambach, became a member of the provisional provincial assembly of Upper Austria in 1918/1919 and remained a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament until 1925 . In 1923 he was elected to the National Council and worked there until his death. Since 1929 he was also a member of the Lambach community council.
Ertl was the founder of the local group of traffic officials in Lambach, district chairman of the Christian-German gymnastics association and chairman of the building cooperative "Housing".
Ertl was married and had four children.
