Franz Gallent

Franz Gallent (born July 27, 1877 in Mährisch Ostrau ; † April 1, 1959 in Imbach, Senftenberg municipality (Lower Austria) ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAPDÖ ) and federal railway inspector. Gallent was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1922 to 1932 .

After primary school, Gallent attended the lower secondary school and the commercial academy in Vienna . He was subsequently hired by Nordwestbahn and between 1910 and 1923 he was the station director in Zellerndorf . He was also a union member and was a member of the Zellerndorf council in 1919. After his early retirement, Gallent was active as a promoter of numerous cultural activities. He also represented the Social Democratic Workers' Party of German Austria in the first and second legislative periods between September 14, 1922 and May 21, 1932 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
