Franz Gartmann
Franz Gartmann (born November 10, 1881 in Oesede near Osnabrück, † May 23, 1956 in Osnabrück ) was a Catholic priest in the Diocese of Osnabrück .
Life
Franz Gartmann, son of Franz Gartmann (1847–1934) and Maria Catharina Gartmann (1849–1912), née Meyer zu Oesede, was ordained a priest on March 4, 1903 by Bishop Hermann Wilhelm Berning in St. Peter's Cathedral in Osnabrück. Later he was pastor in Itzehoe . From 1935 to 1955 he was the cathedral priest in Osnabrück. He was also given the title of Spiritual Counselor . Franz Gartmann died in 1956 and was buried in the canon cemetery in Osnabrück.
