Franz Godin
Franz Godin , better known as Francesco Codino (* around 1590 , † after 1621) was a German still life painter .
The Godin family probably came from a family from the southern Netherlands who came to Frankfurt am Main via Cologne. Franz Godin learned in the workshop of Daniel Soreau in 1619, the year of his death, and appeared in Lombardy from 1621 , where he probably Italianized his name to Francesco Codino.
In some of his works, influences from Peter Binoit and Isaak Soreau can be seen.
