Isaac Soreau
Isaak Soreau (baptized October 17, 1604 in Hanau ; † not before 1645 ) was a German still life painter .
Isaak Soreau and his twin brother Peter were sons of the still life painter Daniel Soreau and his wife Johanna Flamen. The two were students in their father's workshop, which was continued by Sebastian Stoskopff after his father's death . Isaak Soreau was also inspired by Jacob Huldonck .
In 2010, the Hanau Historical Museum acquired the last secured painting by Soreau from 1645. It is entitled: Fruit baskets, fruit bowls, porcelain bowls, flower vases with carnations and vegetables .
