Franz Jacob Arand

Franz Jacob Arand (* 1747 in Heiligenstadt ; † 1803 ibid) was a German doctor.

Life

Franz Jacob Arand studied medicine, was at the 1765 Georg-August University of Göttingen PhD and then worked as Stadtphysicus in Heiligenstadt, Physicus the upper Eichsfeld and the Council of the Elector and Archbishop of Mainz Friedrich Karl Joseph von Erthal .

On March 16, 1780 Franz Jacob Arand with the academic surname Damianus was registered under matriculation no. 840 admitted to the Leopoldina as a member .
