Franz Kartz (born March 17, 1907 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ; † unknown) was a German boxer .
biography
Franz Kartz, joined the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in lightweight on. In the first round he defeated the Japanese Otsu Shuko on points. In the quarterfinals he was defeated by the eventual Olympic champion Lawrence Stevens from South Africa on points.
Kartz was in 1929 in the lightweight and from 1930 to 1932 in the middleweight West German champion. At that time only regional championships were held.
