Franz Klamminger

Franz Klamminger (born February 24, 1897 in Senftenberg , † 1957 declared dead) was an Austrian politician and wine maker. Klamminger was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1934 to 1938 .

Klamminger served in World War I and was seriously wounded in battle. He worked as a self-employed farmer from 1925 and held the office of mayor between 1929 and 1938. In addition, he represented the state of agriculture and forestry between November 22, 1934 and March 12, 1938 in the Lower Austrian state parliament during the period of Austrofascism. After the National Socialists came to power, Klamminger was arrested and again drafted into military service in 1939. Klamminger was declared missing in 1944/45 and declared dead in 1957.
