Franz Kurzreiter

Franz Kurzreiter (born December 10, 1944 in Kottaun ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 1986 to 2003 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Kurzreiter attended secondary school after elementary school and then graduated from an agricultural vocational school and the Edelhof agricultural college, which he graduated with a master of agriculture. In 1972 he took over a farm and worked as a farmer in Kottaun. In addition, he took on several functions in peasant organizations and served as a regional chamber councilor from 1975 to 1986. In addition, from 1990 he was deputy chairman of the Lower Austrian Farmers' Union. Kurzreiter, who had been awarded the professional title of Economics Council, represented the ÖVP between January 29, 1986 and April 24, 2003 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
