Franz Linschinger

Franz Linschinger (* 1957 in Gmunden ) is an Austrian photographer . He is a professional photojournalist and deals with artistic photography .

Life

After his training as a photo businessman (1972 to 1975) and as a photographer (1976 to 1979) he began to deal with artistic photography and his works have since been shown in solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. The photographer, who lives in Altmünster, has been working as a photographer in the press department of the Upper Austrian provincial government since 1986 and since 1987 he has led seminars and photo workshops at schools and in the context of adult education in Austria and South Tyrol .

In 1990 he founded the Spectrum Linz photo gallery and acts as its director. Since 2003 he has been teaching as a lecturer at the University for Artistic and Industrial Design Linz with a focus on subjective and experimental photography .

Linschinger is a member of the Austrian Photography Society , the Salzkammergut Artists' Guild , the Upper Austrian Art Association and the Salzburg Art Association .
