Franz Mentzel

Franz Friedrich Mentzel (born October 30, 1864 in Ehrenfeld ; † February 17, 1949 ) was a German lawyer and President of the Senate at the Imperial Court .

Life

The Prussian Mentzel was sworn in in 1887. In 1898 he was appointed magistrate. In 1902 Mentzel was promoted to district judge. In 1906 he became a regional judge and in 1908 a higher regional judge. In July 1917 he came to the Reichsgericht. He worked as a judge in the VII Civil Senate . In April 1928 he became President of the VII Civil Senate and the V Criminal Senate, which had identical personnel .
