Franz Pülsl

Franz Pülsl (born February 22, 1875 - † December 27, 1946 ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and debt collector. From 1919 to 1927 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

Pülsl worked as an unskilled worker and school clerk before he started working as a cashier for an insurance company. He served between 1915 and 1917 in World War I and was discharged from military service in 1917 due to illness. As early as 1910 he had become a councilor in Liesing , and between 1919 and 1934 he acted as district party secretary. He also held the office of Vice Mayor of Liesing from 1921 to 1934 and was a co-founder of the “Construction and Housing Cooperative” (now “Vienna-South”). He represented the Social Democratic Workers' Party between May 20, 1919 and May 11, 1921 in the Lower Austrian state parliament, and from November 10, 1920 he was a member of the Lower Austria Land Curia. After that he was again a member of the state parliament from March 24, 1926 to May 20, 1927.
