Franz Peyerl (politician, 1920)

Franz Peyerl (born September 16, 1920 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs ; † October 13, 2011 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and trade unionist. From 1961 to 1972 Peyerl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Peyerl attended elementary and community school and completed an apprenticeship as a welder . He did military service from 1939 to 1943 during World War II , where he was seriously wounded. He then worked as a commercial clerk, was a member of the central board of the trade union for private employees from 1949 and a local councilor in Waidhofen an der Ybbs from 1972. In addition, Peyerl represented the SPÖ between May 18, 1961 and November 15, 1972 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
