Franz Rose

Franz Rose (born January 18, 1915 in Dortmund ; † September 14, 2002 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Franz Rose completed an apprenticeship as a mechanic after primary school. A technician training followed. Finally he attended the master school and passed the industrial master examination.

politics

Franz Rose was a member of the SPD from 1932 and again from 1946. He was elected a member of the Dortmund-North-East local association committee in 1954. He was city district manager in Dortmund-Nord from 1957. Rose was a member of IG Metall from 1946 and from 1958 to 1969 worked as a district group leader of IG Metall. He became a board member of the regional association of company health insurance funds in 1964 and a board member of the federal association of company health insurance funds in 1968.

Franz Rose was a directly elected member of the 7th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 110 Dortmund II from July 26, 1970 to May 27, 1975 .
