Franz Waldhäusl

Franz Waldhäusl (* around 1948 in Amstetten ) is an Austrian table tennis player from the 1970s.

Career

Franz Waldhäusl became Austrian champion in doubles with Rudolf Weinmann in 1974 . With the ATUS Traismauer club he won the Austrian team championship in 1974, and in 1977 and 1978 he was TTC Raika Langenlois national champion. In 1979 he represented Austria at the World Cup, in 1980 he was nominated for the individual competitions of the European Championship. He never came close to medal ranks.

Waldhäusl began his career with the ESV Amstetten club, switched to ATUS Traismauer in the early 1970s, to TTC Raika Langenlois in 1975 and later played for Post SV Vienna (until 1983), TTC Sparkasse Stockerau and SPG Polizei / Butterfly (around 2002).
