Franz Xaver Ribler

Franz Xaver Ribler (* 1783 in Zillenhausen near Augsburg; † January 10, 1862 in Hechingen ) was a German councilor and member of the Hechingen state deputation .

Life

Ribler came to Hechingen as an assistant at the end of the 18th century. There he became a teacher at the city school. He later became a school inspector, print shop owner, editor, bookseller and royal councilor. In 1829 he was the editor of the first newspaper in Hechingen. The city of Hechingen awarded him a silver cup as an award for his services to the school system.

Seitz had been a member of the Hechingen State Deputation, the Landtag of the Principality of Hohenzollern-Hechingen , since 1835 . He was elected in a by-election in the constituency of the city of Hechingen in 1835 after the actually elected businessman Anton Carry had not accepted the mandate.
