Frauenensolidarität is a feminist magazine from Austria .

The magazine Frauensolidarität has been published quarterly since 1982. It provides information about women's rights , women's movements and women's culture in the countries of the South and reflects the North-South relationship from a feminist point of view. Current international reports, comments and analyzes on the position of women are supplemented by interviews with activists . There are also regular articles and contributions in Spanish and English .

The magazine is published by the Women's Solidarity Association, which received the 1991 Bruno Kreisky Prize for services to human rights for its work . The association has been active since 1982 and is committed to feminist development policy information and education work in Africa , Asia and Latin America . In its information work in Austria, women's solidarity combines feminist and development policy concepts. Together with the other development organizations BAOBAB, ÖFSE , Paulo Freire Center and Mattersburger Kreis, it operates the C3 Center for International Development.
