Fred Albin

Fred Albin (born December 11, 1903 , † May 3, 1968 ) was an American film technician and effects artist.

Life

For his work on the film Gone with the Wind (1939) Albin received an Oscar nomination at the 12th award in the category Best Visual Effects . In addition to Thomas T. Moulton and other effect artists, he received an Oscar for his technical merits.
Albin died in 1968 at the age of 64.
