Fred Kindle

Fred Kindle (born March 25, 1959 in Liechtenstein ) is a Liechtenstein manager.

Kindle studied mechanical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich from 1979 to 1984 . From 1984 to 1986 he was Project Manager Marketing at Hilti , and from 1986 to 1988 he did a Master of Business Administration at North Western University in Chicago. This was followed by four years at McKinsey , in 1992 he moved to Sulzer , where he was CEO from 2001 . From January 2005 to February 2008, Kindle was ABB's CEO . On February 13, he left the company, according to ABB "due to irreconcilable differences over the management of the company". Fred Kindle has been a partner at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice ever since.
