Fred Warden

Fred Warden (* 1912 ; † unknown) was a German landlord and entertainer .

Life

Fred Warden released several records with chansons and man's jokes, some of which he edited himself. His restaurant, the Alte Brücke in Heidelberg, in which he appeared, was a fixture in German cultural life in the 1960s. His album How would you like it - cheekiness, chansons, jokes for gentlemen's evening - only for adults reached number 28 in the German charts in 1964. The album So Hat Man's Immer wieder Gern was recorded live in his restaurant “Alte Brücke” and produced by Ludwig Sternberg. On August 28, 1965, he appeared with Caterina Valente , Ralf Bendix , Bill Ramsey and others in the entertainment program Am Schaffe, create, build Häusle , which was produced for the German radio exhibition in Stuttgart.

Wardens father was also a comedian and librettist working Bruno Hardt-Warden (1883-1954).
