Fredeburg country

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fredeburger Land is a landscape name for a region near Bad Fredeburg in the Sauerland west of the Rothaargebirge .

In the south are the Saalhauser mountains. The Fredeburger Land also meets the city of Schmallenberg .

The term Fredeburg Land should not be confused with the term Land Fredeburg , because it is a forerunner of the later office of Fredeburg .

The term is also used by some institutions, for example by the Catholic Church, where there is a "Pastoral Association Fredeburger Land". The Sauerland Mountain Association (SGV) operates the Hunau hiking hut in the Fredeburg region. The term Fredeburger Land also plays a role in tourism, so hotels and pensions also use the term.
