Frederic Charles Fraser

Frederic Charles Fraser (born February 15, 1880 , † March 2, 1963 ) was an English entomologist and especially odonatologist . He mainly worked at the Natural History Museum in London , where his collection is also kept. He described 462 new species of dragonflies ; 333 of them are still recognized today. He also described 49 new genera that are still used today. 18 species were named in his honor. Fraser was also a member of the Royal Entomological Society .
