Bernhard von der Schulenburg-Altenhausen

Bernhard August Graf von der Schulenburg-Altenhausen (born May 1, 1809 in Altenhausen , † September 17, 1872 in Elster ) was a German manor owner, administrative officer and parliamentarian.

Bernhard von der Schulenburg studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . In 1830 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . In 1832 he joined the Corps Lunaburgia Göttingen. From 1851 to 1855 he was the district administrator for the district of Neuhaldensleben .

Von der Schulenburg was a co-owner of the Altenhausen and Ivenrode feudal estates as well as district deputy and lived at Altenhausen Castle until his death .

From 1852 to 1858 he was a member of the constituency of Magdeburg 5 in the Prussian House of Representatives . In the 3rd legislative period he belonged to the Graf Schlieffen parliamentary group and in the 4th legislative period to the von Gerlach parliamentary group.
